Dr. Kimberly Corbin

My first grade teacher asked us (as a class) what kind of job we imagined myself performing as adults. I thought about that for quite a while. My parents always encouraged my brother and I to think "big" and not limit ourselves. They said choosing a job that I loved would enable me to live life to the fullest. My dad always seemed happy going to work and coming home each night. He said it was because he was "blessed to be able to serve people and improve the quality of their lives". I decided I would follow in his footsteps and become a chiropractor.

I spent a total of eight years in school; four years of pre-requisites, and another four years of post-grad at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. During my last year of school I was one of the senior clinicians involved in a specialized HIV research program. This study tracked correlations between HIV positive patients and their physiological response to chiropractic care. The program was a positive step in the care of HIV patients, and I feel privilaged to have been a part of it.

After passing the National Board examinations, I graduated Life University in June of 1999 and moved back home to Renton, Washington, where I was born and raised. I immediately passed the Washington State Board examination in July 1999 and received my doctor of chiropractic license the following August. Since that time I've been practicing with my father in this clinic.

I am currently a member of the Washington State Chiropractors Association (WSCA) and I have applied or a board position with the Washington State (Chiropractic) Quality Assurance Commission.

I married my best friend, David, in November 2007 and we are working on starting a family. We live locally in the Renton Highlands and enjoy the small/medium size town home atmosphere that Rnton provides.
